David Keir

David joined Newlands in 2020 as Chairman bringing to the founding directors a wealth of experience having been a leader in the logistics development industry for over 30 years. David has led the growth of several legacy businesses, including, Kingspark, Rosemound Developments and Roxhill. He is well known for his skill in delivering land assembly, planning permissions and complex infrastructure enabling the team to deliver ‘pre-let’ commercial units. David also brings extensive experience in corporate relations and looks forward to a successful partnership with Equites in delivering a strong pipeline for growth of their fund.

Graham Pardoe

Graham is a founding member of Newlands. He has worked in the property industry for over 25 years, having started his career at AXA in Fund Management and has spent the last 20 years in the industrial market. He joined Prologis in 2000 and moved to Rosemound in 2004 as a Director before the business was sold to Goodman three years later. He was appointed Managing Director of Goodman at the end of 2010 and joined Roxhill in 2012 as Managing Director. Graham has worked on a number of large-scale projects with varying complexities delivering success to both shareholders and occupiers.

Simon Williams

Simon is a founding member of Newlands. He has worked in the property industry for 18 years, specialising in the industrial and distribution sector. He qualified as a chartered surveyor with Cushman & Wakefield before moving to Holley Blake and then CB Richard Ellis. He subsequently joined Goodman in 2006 and then Roxhill in 2012. Simon has delivered in excess of 30 commercial units for a wide range of customers throughout the UK.

Ashley Hollinshead

Ashley is a founding member of Newlands, Ashley leads the finance department and brings together the development, construction and financial considerations of the business to ensure the efficient delivery of commercial units. He trained as a chartered accountant, making partner at Deloitte before joining Roxhill Developments in 2016. He has spent the last 15 years working with clients in the real estate industry, delivering bespoke legal structures to facilitate joint ventures between landowners, developers and investment funds.

John Barker

John joined Newlands in May 2019 as Development Director. He has worked in the Industrial and Logistics sector for the last 19 years starting his career at Matthews & Goodman before moving to GVA/Avison Young where he headed up the London and South East Team. In John’s agency days he acted for a number of UK based funds, developers and occupiers both from an acquisition and disposal perspective. Since joining Newlands John has been involved in major projects at Peterborough, Northampton, Thrapston, Basingstoke and Cambridge in regards to land assembly, planning and occupier discussions.

Stephanie Bishop

Steph joined Newlands as Development Director in 2021. Her role is focussed on delivering development sites, sourcing pre-lets, and acquiring new land opportunities. Steph qualified as a Charted Surveyor in 2015. Prior to joining Newlands, she was a Director in the Industrial and Logistics team at CBRE. She specialised in advising occupiers on the acquisitions of existing buildings, build to suit developments and land purchases throughout the UK. Steph has advised on over 10 million square foot of warehouse transactions, which included Amazon’s largest pre-let in the UK. Steph has worked with a wide range of funders to facilitate the development of these assets.

Ken Brown

Ken is the Head of Project Delivery and is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all infrastructure and construction projects throughout Newlands.  Ken has over 25 years of construction experience and has extensive knowledge of the whole development process.  Ken joined Newlands from Roxhill having overseen more than six million square foot of commercial developments and associated complex infrastructure schemes, including Gateway Peterborough, Warth Park and Rugby Gateway.  Ken adopts a positive approach to construction and works closely contractors, funders, consultants and occupiers to ensure projects are delivered to an excellent standard and within the required timescales and budget.

James Miller

James is responsible for managing all aspects of Newlands infrastructure, construction and sustainability activities including supply chain formation, procurement and delivery. James gained much of his experience in commercial contracting and has a proven track record of delivering varied and complex projects across the country. His commercial and contract knowledge of the industrial sector brings highly valuable experience into schemes and guarantees added value at all stages. James is also particularly interested in emerging sustainability technologies and is accountable for Newlands design standards across all projects.

Benjamin Taylor

Ben is the Planning Director at Newlands having joined in early 2021.  He started his career at Alliance Planning in 2008 before moving to Barton Willmore in 2012. At Barton Willmore he specialised in the industrial sector providing strategic advice and heading up their Industrial team.  Ben has amassed a wealth of experience from securing planning permissions for industrial schemes across the UK for a wide range of clients. In August 2020, he also became the Vice Chair of the British Property Federation’s Industrial Committee and continues to play an active role in promoting the benefits of the sector.

Warren Cull

Warren is responsible for the infrastructure delivery that supports the developments for Newlands. A Chartered Civil Engineer by background, he has gained much of his experience of commercial developments in the design consultancy industry from concept through to occupation. Warren has managed projects across the country including within the Highway, Utility and Industrial sectors, giving him a well rounded knowledge of infrastructure delivery, opportunities and challenges. Warren has a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on sustainable design, with particular interests in SuDS and carbon reduction.

Jack Haddow

Jack joined Newlands in 2021. He has over 6 years’ experience in the property industry with 5 years spent at CBRE, as an Associate Director in the Industrial and Logistics team. Jack has specialised in advising occupiers on the acquisition of new Industrial and Logistics space across the UK, including land purchases and bespoke build-to-suit developments. He has advised on over 50 industrial transactions for a range of blue-chip occupiers, including several of Amazon’s first last mile delivery stations. Jack works closely with the other Directors to deliver large scale development projects and seeks to identify new land opportunities.’

Josh Furniss

Josh is Head of Finance and has over 15 years experience in the property sector. He initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton before spending five years at GE Capital Real Estate, which culminated in him leading the UK financial planning and analysis team. Josh went on to help float Pacific Industrial & Logistics REIT plc before taking up the role of Group Financial Controller for Roxhill. Group forecasting and planning is a key focus of Josh’s role at Newlands, and he brings particular expertise in strategic planning and industrial development appraisal analysis.

Alex Tenn

Alex joined the team as a Senior Financial Analyst at Newlands in 2020. He is responsible for preparing appraisals and cashflow forecasts of complex developments, which enables management to make sound commercial decisions. He also assists with reporting to joint venture partners and reviews costs to date on developments to ensure that they are sufficiently financed. Alex is a Chartered Accountant having completed his training at PwC. While this is his first role out of practice, his time at PwC has provided him with a robust understanding of financial reporting and an ability to critically assess complex financial models and forecasts.

Rebecca Smith

Rebecca is Accounts Manager at Newlands where she qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant with CIMA. She has over eight years of experience, many of which were gained at Roxhill where she focused on a wide range of operational financial responsibilities. She joined Newlands in 2018. Her current role includes the preparation of management accounts, cost plan analysis, CIS submissions and group VAT. Her particular area of expertise is operational finance and management reporting.

Sarah Webb

With over a decade of experience, Sarah brings expertise in operational finance, process management and office administration to her role as Accounts Assistant. For the last five years she has worked as an accounts receivable/payable clerk for Roxhill before joining Newlands in 2018. Her current role at Newlands incorporates all aspects of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, preparing JV funding requests and project development cost analysis.

Tracey Ling

Tracey has worked as a Senior PA at Board Level with Virgin Mobile Media, Kuehne and Nagel, Private Aviation and Roxhill. Now, as Executive Assistant at Newlands, Tracey brings over 30 years of experience to her key role which involves facilitating the working lives of senior managers and directors, enabling them to perform their roles more efficiently and effectively. She ensures the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis and is the first point of contact for visitors and regularly liaises with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

Phoebe Norris

Phoebe joined the Newlands team in January 2021 as receptionist/administrator. Phoebe works closely with the team providing day to day administrative support. Phoebe provides a warm welcome for visitors and brings with her eight years’ experience in customer service from the telecommunications industry and utility sector.
